McCaw Hospitality is named after Jess’s mother Evelyn McCaw, who inspired Jess’s love of travel, food, design and storytelling from a young age. Evelyn immigrated from Belfast to Toronto in her early 20’s. She traveled extensively, and her destinations were diverse: From Mexico to Paris, from Indonesia to London. She took Jess on her first trip when she was just a few months old. She always instilled a strong sense of respect for other cultures, places and ways of life.
McCaw Hospitality
Evelyn exemplified warm hospitality. She loved bringing people together and sharing great food, great conversation, and making people feel special in her home. Everyone was welcome at Lyn’s table. The name “McCaw Hospitality” is a tribute to her values: Connection, curiosity, and inclusivity.
